Properties and design of organic materials for energy storage
Project description:
Some of the most promising battery technologies have limitations that need to be overcome. My research is focused on the electrochemical properties of organic materials that have the potential to improve these battery technologies. One of the projects has the aim of designing redox-active conducting polymers which can be used in divalent cation batteries such as Mg2+. In another project I investigate the reactivity of a biological binder material for Li-S batteries.
