Project title: Ionic liquid electrolyte for earth abundant metal ion batteries
Project description:
Identification of reaction intermediate and pathways for a new ground breaking rechargeable aluminum sulfur battery proposed through SALBAGE project. Using quantum mechanical simulations, I predict Al-S battery chemistry with novel inorganic ionic liquid electrolyte which can pave new era in inexpensive scalable battery technology based on earth abundant materials.
